Terms of Service

Effective Date: December 31st, 2020

Player 1 Services (“P1S”, “we”, “us” or “our”) wants to ensure a positive experience for all visitors, users, and collectors. When it comes to your cards and order satisfaction, we take them both very seriously. That’s why we’ve set out here what kinds of policies and protections we offer in general terms, as well as provide limited examples of these terms.

By using any of P1S’s Services, you confirm you have agreed to the Terms of Service and read and understood the Privacy Policy.

1. Some key terms

In our Terms of Service, when we refer to “Users”, we mean our customers who use our Services, including visitors to our sites. We explain who we are in the “Who is P1S?” section below. The users, visitors and customers of, our Users’ sites are “End Users”.

2. Returns & Exchanges

All returns or exchanges of goods or services offered are discretionary by P1S, such as for assorted card lots, sealed items, and more. If a grading submission contains a card that is deemed ungradable by the assigned grading team for any reason, to include tampering, incorrect card type, incorrect card size, and so on, it will be returned to the submitter with the rest of the grading submission. Refunds or grading credit for ungradable cards are at the discretion of the grading team. This is primarily because the assigned grading team will still need to determine whether a card is authentic or has been tampered with. In the cases of an incorrect franchise card being sent in, such as sports cards or other unsupported non-Pokémon cards, refunds or grading credit are more flexible and more easily approved!

3. Damages & Loss

All damages or loss of goods or services offered, either in transit or in P1S possession, are not the liability of P1S or its affiliates. If any grading submission package or shop order is lost or damaged by the delivery carrier such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, international carrier, or other service, the submitter must file a loss claim or damage claim through that service. For shipping high-value grading submissions to our grading center, the best practice is to add additional insurance through the carrier and use Priority Mail shipping. If a grading submission package is not properly protected by the submitter, P1S is not liable for damage that occurs during transit, while opening the package, or while in possession of the package. Any cards that are not included in a grading submission order, but are properly paid for, will be eligible for a refund or grading credit. Any additional cards that are shipped in a grading submission, but are not properly paid for, will be sent back with the rest of the grading submission.
