Registration
This Standard format League Challenge Tournament is open for all ages and skill levels. Each event can host a limit of 28 competitors. Players can register online starting one week prior to the tournament, and registration is open until all spots have been reserved. Players should arrive at 5:00 PM. Last call for check-in is 5:50 PM on the day of the event. Players not registered online by the end of Friday will be able to add themselves to a waiting list roster on the day of the event. Players not checked in by 5:50PM will be refunded and removed from the roster to add present players from the waitlist to the tournament.
Preparation
All that you need to compete is a 60-card deck that is in current Standard rotation in identical non-transparent sleeves, and a deck box. These decks will need to be checked by a Staff member, to ensure all cards and sleeves are tournament-legal before the tournament. If you are unsure whether your cards are in the Standard format, you can ask a Staff member! Final deck changes must be made before 5:30 PM.
Competition
The first round starts at 6:00 PM, and the first match-ups are randomized by the tournament software. All subsequent rounds are determined by a player’s calculated win-loss ratio for direct matches. This means that each round, players are randomly matched up with other players that have the same win-loss ratio. There will be up to 5 total rounds, each with 1 match.
Prizing
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are determined by the final win-loss ratio of the top three players! In the case of a tie for the top three placements, there will be a tiebreaker match to determine the players that will receive cash prizing for 1st through 4th pace. 1st through 3rd place in each division will be able to receive Championship Points. All players who participate will receive a Prize Pack.
